(See part one of our trip here)
Day three started with Belgian waffles. Of course, the kiddos were ready to get out into the snow (again) so once we ate, and go dressed, we headed outside. There was so much snow that needed to be shoveled out of the driveway, so Grey decided to shovel it into a pile and make a snow fort for the kids. I can’t speak for them, but I’m pretty sure the guys were snow shoveled out by the end of the weekend…There’s nothing like getting all warm and toasty by the fire after being out in the freezing cold…
That evening we stayed up past the kid’s bedtime and played Mexican Train, until everyone was just so tired and silly. The next day was the day to clean up, pack up, and go home. As we were washing the dishes and getting the cabin in tip top shape, the power went out! We did our best to clean everything up just was we left it in spite of it. After rounds and rounds around the house, and to the truck, it was finally time to leave. After four feet of snow, and lots of new memories, I can’t wait until next year!
Love, Grey & Brianna
